Hop on over to the Bunny Trail!

This post is a little out of order, I still have a couple of b-day's to do but it will do.

I love Easter! Mostly because of our Savior and his sacrifice for us, but also because the kids need cute new outfits for Church and hunting eggs. We started Easter on Saturday at Grandma and Grandpa Berger's house (tradition, so far). We took pictures first thing, before the dye. After coloring eggs, we hunted for the plastic ones.

Alex had to wear his new sunglasses. He does look good.

Westin is a good poser.

I can't believe Ethan is already seven. He is really beginning to look like a young man.

It took a few tries to get her to look toward the camera and keep her on the rock. It is a bit racy for a 2 yr old. Lol. She had a different dress for hunting eggs, her cousin Wyatt's baptism ( later on that Sat.) and Easter Sunday. I got them all for less than $25, though.

The group shot.

Westin dying eggs.

Amelia was taking perfectly good eggs and crushing the shell so she could eat one. She wasn't really into the dying process. That is our friend Mattie getting help from her mom, Heather.

Ethan did well, I didn't worry about him getting dye on his shirt this year.

Alex wanted to dye all his eggs green, his fav color if you hadn't guessed.

We had three levels of egg hiding: the little one's, Amelia and Mattie (our friend) ; the younger kids, my boys and cousin Wyatt; and the actual hidden ones for the older kids. They all wait in the front yard while the adults hide the eggs. We line them all up and let them go.

This is everyone; my 4 kids, 5 cousins, and 4 friends. Travis and Rachel are holding baby Reddin and Baby Lochlan in the pic.

I don't have any words for this one, except I blame his uncles.

After the egg hunt we feasted on our eggs via egg salad sandwiches and chips. Wyatt's baptism was in the afternoon. Although my kids get restless, I like them to be part of it so they know what they'll be doing soon. Ethan's will be next year!!! I can hardly believe it. We had a little bbq after. It was a great, I didn't have to cook, day.

This is the best Easter Sunday picture I could get. Amelia was having a stubborn morning. I'll admit, I really love this picture. It sums us up, the boys are generally mellow and listen, Amelia beats her drum to a different tune and thinks she is in charge.

I'm so glad you've updated!

Congratulations to Travis! Test taking totally stinks. We know what you're going through. I hardly see Chad with all the test he has been having to take. I feel ya girl!

Also, all your kiddos are so adorable and growing up so quickly. BUT I will have to admit (and I know you've heard this before), BUT when I saw that single picture of Westin I about died! It's sooooooooooo CHAD!!! And he LOVES when I say that. He thinks he is so cool to have one of his nephews look like him.
